Copenhagen highlights

A guided walking tour is one of the best ways to see Copenhagen.
We catch a train to Østerport Station and walk around the Citadel to The Little Mermaid; now more than 100 years old and still forever young. Completed in 1913, this famous statue was made to show tribute to Hans Christian Andersen; the world-known fairy tale writer. We pass the Gefion Fountain on our way to The Royal Residence; Amalienborg Castle; a beautiful rococco complex. Further on the colorful New Harbour, continuing on to the heart of Copenhagen with the Castle Island. On the tour you get stories about Hans Christian Andersen, about the Danish slave trade and the Royal House of Denmark.

On our tour we pass: The New Square, The New Harbour, Amalienborg Castle, The Little Mermaid, The Citadel, The Cathedral, The Castle Island, The Old Stock Exchange.

Content of tour can be adapted to your special wishes.

Tour can start anywhere in inner Copenhagen, from your hotel or from the cruise ship pier. Duration of tour as described: 4½ hrs. we use public transport one way, so total walking lenght is only app. 3-3½ miles.
