Kronborg - Hamlet's Castle

Kronborg Castle is a Unesco World Heritage Site immortalized by Shakespeare, who chose to let Hamlet live at the castle. In the casemates here Holger the Dane is waiting to save Denmark in times of trouble.

The Castle is recognized as one of the most unique renaissance castles in Northern Europe.
The visit to Kronborg can be complimentated by a visit to the fantastic art museum; Louisiana in Northern Zealand. The museum is the most popular art museum in Denmark and has, among other things, a sculpture exhibition in the beautiful garden with a beautiful view over the sound.

Or it can be combined with a visit to two other castles in Northern Zealand.

Transport with train from Copenhagen is smooth and easy. Or any other transport.
