Royal Copenhagen; Amalienborg, Rosenborg and Christiansborg
Denmark is the oldest, yet existing kingdom in the world; our king can track his family back to King Gorm the Old, who ruled in the early 900'ds.
Since January 14th 2024 our king is Frederik 10th married to queen Mary from Tasmania Australia.
At a guided tour we will see their home; Amalienborg from the outside and enjoy the beautiful castle square and the fantastic rococco complex.
At the Rosenborg castle we have the crown jewels and a museum for the royalties back in the renaissance. Also the royal crowns etc. can be seen here.
Entrance fee and prebooking needed here.
The third castle with royal flavour is the Christiansborg Castle with our Parliament and the royal reception rooms. These can even be visited including tapestries depiction 1000 years of Danish history.
Entrance fee.
So this invites you in for a great royal tour of Copenhagen.
Duration of tour: minimum 4 hrs.
